Screened Porches

Extend the enjoyment of your home by adding a screened porch. Get out in the fresh air and sunshine but keep the bugs away. An added plus with your screened porch is the shade it provides from the direct rays of the sun. Once you decide a screened porch is for you, your next question is going to be what size to build. The size of the screened porch will be determined by how you intend to use it. Will this space be a coffee for two in the morning space (12’x12’)? Will it be an extension of the home’s entertainment space (16’x16’)? Will this room become an alternative dining area (12’x16’)? The size may also be determined by how and where it is attached to the existing home. We can advise you about this when we meet you at your home for a free consultation.

If you have an existing deck, we can work with that and save you money. We can make the screened porch the same size as the deck or extend the deck to accommodate more room. We will put screening under the deck to keep bugs from coming up between the decking boards. If your deck is treated, we often get the request to remove those boards and install composite boards instead. This is an option but not required.
